Step-by-Step Application
Apply Bond to Lashes and Clusters: Start by applying bond to your lashes. Focus on the base of your lashes, not the entire length to prevent clumping. Then, apply bond to the base of the lash cluster.
Attach the Clusters: Use your tweezers to place the at home lash extension clusters on the underside of your natural lashes. Be gentle and precise and apply a few millimetres above your waterline. DO NOT attach the lashes to your skin.
Clamp: Use the tweezers to gently clamp the lash clusters to your natural lashes and hold for 5-10 seconds.
Use Sealer: After clamping your lashes with tweezers, apply sealer. This will remove any glue residue and prevent stickiness.
Avoid Water for 24 Hours: To ensure your lashes set properly, do not wet them for the first 24 hours.
Essential Tools and Tips
Get a 5x Zoom Mirror: A 5x zoom mirror (available at KMart) will make it so much easier to see what you're doing, therefore ensuring precise application.
Have Makeup Wipes or Micellar Water Wipes Handy: Use these to wipe your tweezers between each cluster, which will prevent any bond residue from causing the tweezers to stick to the next cluster.
Practice Makes Perfect: Your first attempt may be a disaster, after the first go, you’ll get the hang of it and it will be a breeze from then on.
Reapply or Replace Individual Clusters: If one cluster falls off, simply reapply it or replace it instead of redoing the whole set.
